Condé Nast Farms Out Shoestring Magazine Launches (NY Post / Media Ink)

Condé Nast has turned out the lights on high-end magazine development, but other wings of the media giant controlled by the Newhouse family seem to be incubating magazines on shoestring budgets. The latest mag out of the gate is MensWear, which is being produced by the Fairchild wing. The news comes only a few days after Parade Publications, a subsidiary of Newhouse’s Advance unit, said it was launching a new Sunday newspaper magazine insert this November called Dash, covering the food market.
