In November, Relative Space New York in collaboration with SPaN Architects opened a brand new venue with sustainable wood flooring and wrap around ceiling clad at venerated Vegan restaurant Souen, located in Union Square.
Early December marks the debut of architectural design maven Clodagh’s ecological fashion line within the Relative Space 2 Bond Street New York showroom; this event series is by invitation only.
2011 promises an exciting ‘Berlin Design’ exhibit at the New York showroom, curated by architects Juergen Mayer H and Tyler Greenberg, who is also Principal at Relative Space New York. This May 2011 event series will also include notable industrial designers and artists Jerszy Seymour, Hella Jongerius, Sarah Illenberger and Mark Braun.
October 2010 marked the first anniversary of the Relative Space New York showroom, as well as the expansion of the Toronto Relative Space flagship to encompass the globally innovative interior design firm, Commute Home. Relative Space new products include Anker from Germany, which recently won the prestigious Good Design Award. Tours at the new CommuteHome location within Relative Space may be arranged by appointment via Gotham Public Relations.
