Social media gets — as if it needed it — some traditional validation by going print. Cold Blue released its first print magazine, Social Media Monthly, dedicated to social media. ReadWriteWeb: At one point, a print magazine about the online world was inevitable (remember Yahoo! Internet Life?). But now, with the proliferation of smartphones, tablets, and magazine apps like Flipboard, not so much. So the launch of Social Media Monthly is a bit of a surprise — even more so its distribution.
