The way we as individuals express our emotions is a very personal choice. Some prefer to do so through music, others through theater, some even select writing as the preferred outlet. Designer Tinatin Kilaberidze, opts to express her emotions through design.
The fusion of design and emotion is a concept some may not correlate however this is the very mantra behind her unique and beautiful decorative forms, shapes and prints.
“That’s life!” says Tinatin. “The purpose of design is to make people happy – it’s a serious service.”
A Gotham PR client, Tinatin showcases her stellar work this Wednesday, October 19th via the Valerie Goodman Gallery in New York. As a novel collection will be unveiled featuring furniture lighting and even her own wallpaper, the marriage of emotion and design will be apparent to the eager eye.
As told to Architects + Artisans, design, she believes, is about excitement and discovery.
